Curious to know the various car wash method people are using? Foam cannon? 1 bucket? 2 bucket? Do you use a pre-wash first? Let us know your wash method!
I use three buckets - one strictly for the wheels, one with the soap and one to rinse off the wash mitt. Also use two mitts, one for the upper part of the car and one for near the bottom.
Have a question, though, about foam. When you spray the foam over the entire car, including the wheels, do you just let it dwell for 5 minutes or so, or do you go over it with a MF towel after letting it dwell for a while? Thanks.
Always let it dwell and then hose off. Then refoam and wash . The initial foam hit is just to loosen up crud on the paint hence the dwell and hose . The re foam give you that boost of lubrication when you start the wash 👍👍
Ha ! I do the same but I need a few more towels as it's an F150. Beats hauling out another bucket , and should as long as the buckets and towels are grit free , really cuts down on swirling 👍👍👍
I usually stand around and yak with Rohullah as he goes through his paces on my car: hose down, foam cannon, pressure wash, squeege off the water, dry and apply a coating of a ceramic detailing spray
I do my own rims from a bucket, up on the dirt road that stops here

1 Bucket with 5 different mits. 1 for hood, 1 for left side, 1 right side, 1 trunk and 1 roof.
